The amazing live-aboard vessel was built in Tanjung Bira, South Sulawesi, the collaboration of traditional skills and with the years of experience in the Indonesian liveaboard diving industry has created a remarkable and majestic live-aboard vessel. It has been specially designed to offer a personal service to small groups for up to 8 passengers.
This 40 meter long Indonesian vessel has 6 staterooms with a choice of single, twin, doubles cabins or 2 spacious master cabins. Specifically designed for divers, the vessel offers a large dive station equiped with individual rinse tanks and a camera room with separated camera work stations.
There are 6 cabins: the single cabin (18 sqm) and the vast master cabin (40 sqm), all equiped with either queen or king sized beds, en-suite showers and toilet and air-conditioning.
The vessel is the first in Indonesia to offer a divemaster/guide to customer ratio of 4 to 1 ensuring the best service underwater as well as onboard. The vessel has been designed with three large deck areas for relaxing either in the sun or in shaded areas. The passengers can enjoy the all inclusive service onboard, even a spa therapy is included in the price of a live-aboard cruise.
Departing from Biak, Papua, we will make the first stop at Pulau Manim with its WWII theme of a series of landing craft along the side of the island. From here we will head south into the Cenderawasih Bay National Park and enjoy some critter hunting at Roon and the endemic fish species to be found at Tanjung Mangguar. For the highlight of the trip the boat will anchor by the fishing platforms where the resident whalesharks come to feed; you can swim, snorkel, dive, feed and enjoy your photo opportunities with these magnificant creatures. From here we will spend our last days island hopping back up the the bay visiting the atolls and desert islands along the way. We will enjoy the current rich waters of the passage at Yappen with the schooling fish and passing Mobula Rays. We will finish our Cenderawasih liveaboard cruise with the signature dive site in Biak Harbour of the PBY Catalina Flying Boat.
Explore the wonders of the Dampier Straits in northern Raja Ampat. Enjoy Kri with it’s sloping reef and surrounding seamounts with schooling fish. Visit the manta cleaning stations at Manta Sandy and hunt under the dock at Arborek for cool macro. Dive the beautiful coral gardens at Penemu and travel the lagoon at Penemu by tender boat to climb to the viewpoint for photo opportunities. Head down to southern Raja Ampat and colourful soft coral reefs surrounding Misool. This area has an abundance of species with more mantas, sharks and schooling fish to accompany the many macro opportunities; definitely the centre of marine biodiversity in the world.
Explore the wonders of the Dampier Straits and northern Raja Ampat with its reefs, seamounts, schooling fish, manta cleaning stations and cool macro under docks. Visit the lagoon at Penemu and climb to the viewpoint for photo opps. Head down to southern Raja Ampat and the colourful soft coral reefs surrounding Misool. More mantas, sharks and schooling fish to accompany the many macro opportunities. Stop at the island of Koon for passing pelagics on your way into the Banda Sea. Soak up the history of the Banda Islands with its unique dive sites like Lava Flow and the drop offs with schooling fish. Finish with some critter hunting on the world class muck slopes of Ambon Harbour.
Head straight into the national park to dive the current rich iconic site of Batu Bolong and Karang Makassar for some manta magic. Move north to the schooling fish at the pinnacles of Castle Rock and Crystal Rock. On the north coast of Rinca is a great muck dive at Wainilu and the chance to trek on the island with the endemic Komodo Dragons during your surface interval. Back in the central channel enjoy the beautiful island of Padar before experiencing the famous Horseshoe Bay with its great diving and its proximity to Dragon Beach. Dive Manta Alley on the southern point of Komodo, a large site with schooling fish, interesting topography and hopefully some mantas. In the north of the area the volcano at Sanggeang has some world class critter diving and then finish on the muck slopes in Bima Bay.
Board the boat in Saumlaki and cruise the islands along the west coast of Taminbar diving these beautiful reefs. From Kalbur in the north jump across the atoll at Nils Desperandum for sheer drop-offs, blue waters and passing pelagics. The next stop is Pulau Manuk, the island of the snakes, to spend some quality time with both the olive sea snake and the banded sea krait. Visit the fishy seamounts at Bui and Kurkap before heading east to the fresh-water waterfall blending with the sea at Momon and a great macro dive. Finish the trip in the current rich waters of Triton Bay. The colourful soft-corals, schooling fish, endemic critters, prehistoric cave art and maybe even a whaleshark will make it an unforgettable experience.
Departing from Maumere Bay, on the northern coast of Flores Island, the boat will make the first stop at the walls at Babi for the check-out dive. We then head over to the island of Serbete and down through the channel for some critter diving at Adonara. Exploring along the south coast we shall dive some of the fishiest reefs in Indonesia; keep your eyes open for pelagics, mantas, mola mola and passing cetaceans. Our third day starts off on the northern coast of Lembata Island before cruising to the still active Komba volcano. Continuing on to Rusa, one of the best dive areas in Indonesia, we spend our next days enjoying the beautiful coral encrusted rocks surrounded by schooling fish before heading southwards through the current rich Pantar Straits and Pulau Pura. We shall spend our final cruise days enjoying the variety of dive sites which provide a superb mix of wide angle and macro subjects, along with plenty of excellent “muck” diving and the opportunity to visit local villages. Our Alor liveaboard cruise ends in Kupang, where guests can enjoy our complimentary airport transfer.

As you make your way north to the macro dive at Momon you can also experience the wonderful fresh-waterfall blending with the sea. Soak up the history at the Spice Islands of Banda before finishing with some world class muck diving in Ambon harbour.
